The Four Pillars For Living An Inspired Life
Each of us is unique, with different needs, desires and goals. However, I have found over the years that there are four key areas of development, which, when understood and integrated, lead to personal and professional success, however that is defined by you.
My own personal journey toward self-awareness, self-mastery and joy has shown me time and time again how the development and cultivation of mindfulness, embodiment practices, life skills, and creating impact consistently build the personal resilience and strength of character necessary for living an inspired life. On my journey, I’ve had the great honor and privilege to work with high-level coaches, mentors, spiritual guides, therapists and scholars in a broad array of disciplines. Among different cultures, religions, professions and athletic and artistic pursuits, developmental patterns and themes have risen to the surface as the unifying principles for living a good and fulfilling life.
The primary premise of the Inspired Living Philosophy is the thoughtful cultivation of The Four Pillars. The adherence to and integration of these pillars lays a foundation for success and happiness in everything you do, enriched with a deep sense of meaning and purpose.
Mindfulness
Presence is the greatest gift we can offer ourselves and the world around us. Learning to still the mind, connect with breath and listen and respond consciously, rather than react habitually, creates true freedom and lasting happiness. Mindfulness practices are designed to help you create spaciousness, slow down, tap into the present moment, listen to your intuition, and develop the self-care, self-awareness, and self-confidence necessary for living an inspired life.
Embodiment
In building a strong and trusting relationship with the body, we are gifted with a deep and primal knowing that transcends the chatter of the mind. Through connecting with the body, we can access our vitality and life force, somatically know our true purpose, cultivate optimal health, and live in harmony with the natural world and all living things. Fitness and conditioning, health and wellness strategies, and embodiment practices, such as yoga and dance, are woven into an Inspired Life and help you improve and maintain strength, flexibility, stability, and overall vitality. Awareness of and care for the physical body helps enhance performance, whether that be in a boardroom, reaching physical and athletic potential, or feeling more comfortable and healthy in your body.
Life Skills
The development and cultivation of life skills is a lifelong process and imperative to achieving continued success. Depending on your specific life path and developmental stage, we focus on topics such as time management and efficiency; financial awareness and planning; habit hacking; strategic thinking, priorities and goal setting; communication and intimacy; and decision making techniques, such as getting crystal clear on your values and strengths—all with the end goal of cultivating self-mastery and successfully crafting your desired life.
Impact
The integration of mind, body, and spirit connects us with our deepest truth and reveals our core purpose. For some, the purpose is intimately connected to the job or role that we are called to play in society. For others, purpose illuminates the way we interact with others, such as embodying, and sharing certain qualities. With insight, strategy, and inner guidance, we are more able to embody and manifest our visions, create a positive impact, and be of sincere service to ourselves, families, communities, and the world.
